Today, in our practice we have more adult patients undergoing orthodontic treatment than ever before. There are several reasons for this. Patients are realizing that you can wear braces at any age. People now expect to keep their teeth for a lifetime, so they want to enjoy the benefits of great looking teeth. Baby boomers, in particular, do not want to see themselves as getting old and a big part of looking and feeling youthful is having a nice smile. There is a greater awareness of different treatment options, such as Invisalign, clear braces, and speed brackets. The traditional “railroad tracks” are now passe. New technology in orthodontics now allows for more choices, faster treatment and better results. So go ahead, if you want a better smile, take the plunge, make the call, and come in to talk to us about your options. The results can be life changing.

yes I have been wondering whether the invisalign braces are better than the regular braces, but are the Invisaligns more expensive?

Invisalign is better than regular braces only because they are more easily accepted by patients. Generally I find that it is easier for me to control the treatment with regular braces and not have to rely on treatment co-ordination with an outside party (Invisalign) and I can make changes in the treatment more quickly allowing me to be more responsive to the patients’ needs and situations.
Either way, both treatment modalities are highly successful ways to correct orthodontic issues.
